In response to the COVID-19 epidemic and as a result of the closure of City of Roswell facilities where we ususally meet, RPS will not be able to have any in-person meetings until further notice. As much as we miss seeing people face-to-face, concern for the health and welfare of our members and guests must take priority.
We will host online, “Virtual” meetings on our normal meeting schedule. Watch for our newsletter for more information.
Roswell Photographic Society is one of the most active photography clubs in metro Atlanta offering educational speakers, critiques, workshops, field trips and gallery space in seven venues to display your images. Members range from photographic beginners to working professionals. The Club is sponsored and supported by the Roswell Adult Recreation Center through the City of Roswell.
Meetings are a fun and educational forum to share members’ photographic interests and experience. RPS meets typically on the first Tuesday of each month. Social time begins at 6:30 PM. Meetings begin at 7:00 PM and end at 8:30 PM. Meetings are FREE and open to anyone. Meetings switch between Program Meetings, featuring a speaker on a photographic subject of interest and Photo Reviews, providing members the opportunity to have their work critiqued by a respected professional.
Membership is $35 per calendar year. Membership provides the opportunity to submit photos for monthly Photo Reviews, participate in exhibits, and attend field trips.
The meeting location is:
Roswell Adult Recreation Center
