For July, the theme is Architecture, and the Guest Judge will be Ed Wolkis, who spoke to the club on the same subject at the April meeting.

REMEMBER: You may submit one image for digital and another for print if you want.  The print and digital images must be different.  This is a non-vintage review.  Images must have been taken within the last 18 months.

All image submissions are due by 4 PM on Sunday, 7/8/2018

About Our Judge, Ed Wolkis

Ed Wolkis is an architectural and commercial photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. He has earned over twenty local, national and international awards while working for clients such as: Owens Corning, Delta Airlines, General Electric, Turner Broadcasting Systems, The Atlanta Falcons, ABC-TV, CBS, Dupont, Coca-Cola, IBM, The Home Depot, CNN, Nokia, Tribune Entertainment, as well as architectural and design clients such as Sterling Trust, Atlantic Realty Partners, Perkins + Will, The Lane Company, Colliers Spectrum Cauble, Peacock Interiors, Havertys Furniture, and Atlanta Fine Homes/Sotheby’s International Realty.

Eds work has appeared in publications including:  The New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek, National Geographic, Audubon Magazine, Town and Country Magazine, Sports Illustrated and TV Guide.  His subjects have ranged from President George Bush to yak herders in Tibet.

Ed is the author of the book, How To Take Photos That Move Houses, An Easy-Reading Guide for Real Estate Agents, Brokers, Architects, Designers, & anyone who needs to show a property in its best light.  He has been a speaker at the International Medical Volunteerism Conference at Emory University, and is currently a part time instructor at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia, teaching architectural and commercial photography.  He is a member of AIAP (Association of Independent Architectural Photographers) and is a Board Member of APA (American Photographic Artists), Atlanta.
