The Georgia Aquarium is a one of the premier aquariums in the Southeast. It features several tanks with a large variety of animals.

When: Saturday, January 17, 2026. We plan to assemble at the main entrance at 9:00am.

Parking: 357 Luckie Street, NW Atlanta, GA 30313
Carpool: Meet at Mansell Park & Ride Lot at 08:00am, leave at 08:15am. Carpooling is recommended.
Admission: $57.99 for adults. Please buy your ticket in advance.
Food: Food is available inside the aquarium. We may also consider eating at the Biergarten after our visit.
Photography Tips: You will be working in a dark and potentially crowded space. Consider using a bright, short telephoto lens like a 70-200 f /2.8 for subject isolation. A 24-70 f/2.8 or a faster prime may be useful for wider shots. Tripods are not practical, but a monopod may be useful. Shoot close to the glass to avoid glare and choose close and well lit subjects. Flash and other artificial lighting is not allowed. Photographing or filming the shows is not permitted.
