Gibbs Gardens is a 300+ acres world class garden located near Ball Ground, GA. It offers great photo opportunities throughout the year. Our late Fall visit will be focused on Japanese Maples, pond reflections and art.
Location: 1987 Gibbs Dr, Ball Ground, GA 30107 (60 minutes from Roswell)
When: Saturday, November 8, 2025. The gardens are open from 09:00am to 04:00pm.
Meet-up: We plan to assemble at the main entrance of Gibbs Gardens at 9:00am on Saturday, November 8 for a group photo.
Parking: There is plenty of parking at the main entrance of Gibbs Gardens.
Carpool: If you would like to car pool, we can meet at the MARTA Mansell Road Park/Ride Car Park on GA400 Exit 8 at 08:00am on November 8.
Cost: Admission is $25 for adults and $18 for seniors (65+).
Who: Friends and family are welcome to join us.
Lunch: We plan to meet for lunch at the Arbor Cafe (located inside the garden).
Photography Tips: Consider using a standard zoom lens like 24-70mm. A longer lens or a macro lens can be very useful for detailed shots. Tripods and monopods are ok, but please be considerate. Professional equipment, such as reflectors and staged photography are not permitted.
