During sunset, Jackson Street Bridge offers one of the most iconic views of the Atlanta. On September 19th, the sun will set in the west behind the high rise buildings, offering us the opportunity to take pictures during the golden hour, sunset and the blue hour. Cars will be traveling to and from the city and we will be able to take images of their light trails.
We will meet on the bridge at 06:30pm, approximately one hour before sunset. The blue hour will end at approximately 08:00pm. There is plenty of street parking in the area. Participants will arrive at different times from different directions, so please self-organize your car pooling you see fit.

Photography Tips: A sturdy tripod is required. Expect focal lengths between 24 and 70mm. A longer focal length may be useful to pick out more detailed shots of the skyline.
To photograph long light trails as shown in the sample pictures, a shutter speed of approximately 60 seconds is recommended. A 30 seconds shutter speed will work too, but the trails will be shorter. You may use a ND filter to achieve shutter speeds that long or you can try a small aperture like f/22 with a very low ISO.
FYI: The sample pictures were taken with a a 60sec shutter speed, f/13, ISO64 (sunset) and ISO250 (night) and a ND filter.
