People and Portraits
Portrait photography is more than just a picture of somebody; it’s capturing the essence of a person’s identity and attitude. Becoming a portrait photographer includes learning how to work with clients, select lighting, background and poses and use a camera to find the perfect exposure.
At our September meeting, Andrew Michael “Dru” Phillips will share his images, insight and experience as a portrait photographer in a variety of genres. Dru was a speaker at RPS back in 2016 when he shared his love for street photography and cosplay. Be sure to attend this meeting to get a closer look at the portrait photographer’s life and see what he’s been up to lately.
