About Our Speaker, Paul Peterson

Paul is a native of Minnesota, but he has lived in the Atlanta area since graduating from college in 1984.  He has as been an IT professional, except for seven years when he sold Amiga-based video editing systems at Showcase Photo and Video, in the 90s.  He participated in the H.S. photo club and took a photo class in college. No formal training beyond that.  Paul developed an eye for composition early on, using point-n-shoots as well as basic skills in editing.  He upgraded to a mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses in 2016 and started using Adobe Lightroom as well as a host of other editing tools.  He has been active in RPS, and in the past few years, he has been the membership director.

Paul hopes to inspire us to consider widening the scope of our photography subject matter and product (panorama, gigapixel, stereo, mosaic, etc).  He will be offering some related tips and show us a small bit of his workflow as well.

They will be there by 6pm.  Sensor cleaning is $50.00 and will include the cleaning of the sensor, mirror box, and an external camera clean.  Lens cleaning is $10.00 per lens and includes external cleaning only.
