On April 8, 2024 the last solar eclipse to cross the USA for the next 20 years will occur. My presentation will help prepare you for this and other astrological events. As the  skills needed to photograph lunar and solar eclipses also are needed to photograph the Milky Way and other subjects at night my talk will give you the skills to cover more than just a one time event. I will also discuss the equipment needed and where to find them.

Although I make my living as a Workers Compensation Attorney representing Injured employees, being a true Gemini I have a passion for photography as well. My images have appeared in the Natures Best Photography Magazine as well as the National Audubon Society publication. I have studied with the Rocky Mountain School of Photography taking their Professional Nature Photography Class. I am a frequent lecturer and judge with many of the camera clubs in the Atlanta area.  Although I had a thriving event photography business having photographed over 300 events, I decided about 10 years ago one occupation was enough and now consider photography only as a hobby. My photographs adorn the offices of the State Board of Workers Compensation and several restaurants. I do not sell my prints but do donate them to several charities including Kids Chance of Georgia.
